Student Union Champions - Seevic Campus

Faye White-Miller - Equality & Diversity Champion

I joined student union is because I wanted to make a change for the future of our college and the students. I’m glad I joined Student union because I met some amazing people and wouldn’t change it for the world.

Nilesh Gangwani - Equality & Diversity Champion

The reason why i wanted to join Student Union: I have always wanted to contribute to the college as I have always been impressed with the college's acceptance of everyone's expression and identity of who they are. I believe that the Student Union has helped to reinforce this acceptance within the college. This acceptance has driven me to help other students with my own experiences as a source of inspiration through dark times.

I joined Student Union because i feel like i will be a good asset to the team and will make wonderful friendships with everyone. I’m glad i chose to be a part of student union as i want to learn and grow as an individual and i think this will help me, i also want to help others that are in need or need someone to talk too. Bethany Livermore - Communications Champion

I wanted to join Student Union as this will give me an opportunity to develop a range of skills, such as leadership, teamwork and communication skills which I will need in the future.

Being the Communications Champion will allow me to gain more knowledge in the marketing sector which is what I want to do in the future ahead of me. I also want to work closely with the College to make a change and display a positive image to fellow students.

Rosie Chapman - Storm Champion

I joined the student union because I wanted to get more people involved in the Seevic Storm games by supporting them each home game and get more people interested in sport in general.

Ellie Meakin - Equality & Diversity Champion

I believe people in the student union team have the ability to be a role model and have the skills to inspire their peers. I feel I am able to do this. Being the equality and diversity champion will allow me to create a calm, comfortable environment for everyone. I am excited by the challenge of the role I have been given to begin my first year at USP College. I will embrace this role and know I have given something back and made a difference to the college. I am passionate, approachable, motivated and above all genuine.

Abigail Guyll - Champion

I was searching for a role that allowed me to take up a leadership role that still centred around and benefitted my college life and education and found the Student Union to be the perfect role. I want to improve the quality of education, satisfaction and above all - especially during this pandemic - safety of all students to give everyone a beneficial head start into their adult lives. Knowing I could use the collective of all students’ opinion to improve these areas stuck out as the ideal position for me, landing me the role of Curriculum and Quality Champion.
